A Vision is Born

It struck me that our vision of an import company bringing the best of Southern Brazil to North America was becoming a reality when I started loading our pickup truck with boxes of high end shoes at the American Airlines Cargo terminal.

As with many nascent ideas, I’m not sure I can nail down exactly how the idea struck us that we should start an import company. In reality, it was a progression of thought and brainstorming about how to use our combined skills, connections, and passions to benefit the world around us and the various circles we are connected with.

Months of work and waiting culminated in the new adventure of finding an import broker to help us get our initial test shipment of Raphaella Booz products out of the American Airlines International Cargo Terminal at CLT. We could not wait to get them home to inventory, photograph, and begin introducing this fantastic company from Lili’s home region to the world.

As with most visions, the idea is easy. Making it a reality is what separates the dreamer from the do-er. Each day we take small steps forward with an international business that quite literally connects three continents and holds the hopes and dreams of multiple families and communities.

Babies start small, and this is no different, but the vision is huge and excitement grows with each new challenge and victory. Follow, or join us for this journey!
